مهران زند، ۳۲ ساله، در جریان اعتراضات ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در شهریار به دست نیروهای حکومتی کشته شد. بر اساس گزارشها، او در حالی که مجروح شده بود، با شلیک «تیر خلاص» مزدوران رژیم جان خود را از دست داد. نام او به عنوان یکی از جاویدنامان راه آزادی ثبت شده است.
